Never Do *THIS* In Your Article Marketing…

The quality of the articles you or someone else write is a representation of you. Even if you never write a single word yourself and outsource most of your work, you are the ambassador of your own marketing and fully responsible for it.

With the internet taking off the way it has, it’s so much easier to put out useless content that does nothing but piss people off for wasting their time. Thus, taking away trust from honest marketers like yourself and making your job harder.

Let’s take banner advertising for example: In the early and late 90’s, banner advertising was all the rage. It worked like gangbusters and produced record breaking internet profits for many of the pioneers in this business.

But the unthinkable happened:

Dishonest and greedy marketers started abusing a working system, biting the hand
that feeds them.

People clicking on these banner ads suddenly started seeing how they were being taken for a ride in their own homes. They were being bombarded with unwanted messages to “buy, buy, buy”. Little to no value was offered in addition to the banner ads and things just started looking bad.

Promises of losing 100 pounds or making a million dollars in 5 days was becoming a thing of the past and people started to getting smarter.

It got to the point where there were whole websites dedicated to nothing but banners with nothing else of value left on it.

All this led to distrust in banners and the value they CAN provide in the hands of a good marketers who knows what they’re doing. It was a back and forth circus between buyer and marketer — if the buyer weren’t being naive, the marketer was being deceptive.

It all collapsed under it’s own weight.

Some experts suspect the same happening with article marketing. Thankfully, there are a few pioneers who restored trust back into the system and proved you don’t have to make false promises or claims to make money online.

There is one thing you want to avoid at all costs that boils this article down to one word:

S-P-A-M.

It’s never done anyone, both consumer and marketer, any good in the long run so stay away from it with a 10 foot pole.

Three Reasons Why 97% Fail To Make A Single Dime With Article Marketing

Has it ever dawned on you why some people fail miserably getting any results with their article marketing efforts?

Maybe you’re (or was) one of those people looking for answers to questions you can’t answer on your own.

What I’m about to reveal in this article will give you the reality check you need to finally stand on your own two feet and take a stand against giving up on a marketing method I know works as one of the most stable marketing methods online. I hate to use the old cliché but it’s truer than ever : “If I can do it, so can you”.

As the title says, there are three main reasons why marketers using articles as part of their marketing campaign fail to get it to work even after several tries. Let’s kick things off with…

Reason #1: The majority of marketers fail at making money or driving traffic with article marketing because…

they don’t give it the time and energy necessary to make it work in the first place.

The typical average article marketer writes 4 or 5 articles, submit maybe 2 or 3, and when they don’t see a response (if any) they walk out with the their tails between their legs convinced that “this article marketing thing doesn’t work”.

I put this as the number one reason because it is the most common reason why people give up on it.

Reason #2: They make it “too” complicated. I don’t want to suggest that article marketing is a piece of cake. It isn’t. You don’t need to understand why the sky is blue or why the sun sets in the west. You just need to understand the concept — you or someone you hire write articles, and “market” them to get a specific result.

Reason #3: Giving away to much information.

If you can picture a fisherman at Tahoe Lake throwing the bait in the water “without” the reel to bring the fish AND the bait back, you understand how giving away to much in your articles creates the same damaging effect.

Always tell an incomplete article to get someone to click on the resource box (the bait) at the end of your article (the fishing reel) . This way you’re not losing control of what you worked hard to set-up.

Article marketing is a piece of cake when done right. Anyone with “half-a-brain” (as if you could actually survive on half a brain) can do this.

Remember the three rules : Give it the time and energy it deserves for it to work, don’t make it complicated, and don’t give away too much info upfront. Keep these three rules in mind and you can never go wrong.

Article Marketing Sucks And Is A Waste Of Time — Here’s Why…

“I couldn’t get it to work for ME, therefore it can’t possibly work for you or anyone else”.

Seriously, how many times have we heard THAT one before.

The world’s full of critics who think they have the answers to everything. It get’s worst when business is involved because it’s so easy to write off something that doesn’t work when you couldn’t get it to work for you.

It’s hard to determine what information is right and what’s wrong because personal opinions can cloud the judgment of any sane human being.

I’m sure you’ve heard positives and negatives about article marketing. Probably more negative than positive. But if you knew that it works for one person and not for the other, would you want to know how it works from the person who it works for or the one who complains about it not working for them?

I’d bet money you’d want to learn it from someone who it works for.

You’ve read horror stories, and believe me they are there, about how they spend xxx amount of dollars and time and got pitiful results. Some talk about article marketing losing it’s effectiveness, some say it doesn’t work for beginners, and some are saying it doesn’t work at all.

But if it doesn’t work for them, does it mean it won’t work for you? If I told you I can’t jump higher than 3 feet, doesn’t mean you can’t jump 4?

Everyone has their opinion, and their entitled to it. There are marketers who make a living from articles alone. Those are the ones you should listen to because in the grand scheme of things, THEY found out how to make it work and you will make it work taking notes on what they do and how they do it.

Many factors come to play in marketing successfully with articles including how many articles were submitted, where they were submitted to, how the research was done, if PLR content was used, what keywords were targeted, and so on.

Bottom-line, if someone swears article marketing doesn’t work, be the first to question them about why it DIDN’T work and learn what not to do so you don’t make the same mistakes.

Some people are resistant to give answers to those questions hard to answer because they would have to admit they were wrong…about something.

And few people want to admit they were wrong…about anything.

Keep that in mind before you make your decision on if article marketing fits you and your online business.
